Walk: Along the Little Cuyahoga

  • Education Conservation (map)

Heather Ullinger, Senior Engineer for the City of Akron, will be our guide for a fascinating and informative walk along the Little Cuyahoga River. The second-largest tributary of the Cuyahoga (after Tinker's Creek), the Little Cuyahoga flows into the main branch in Akron, just as the river curves north toward Cleveland. We'll meet at the Memorial Parkway trailhead and make our way to the site of a major restoration project funded by the US EPA's Great Lakes Restoration Initiative. We'll learn about the project, and about the significance of the Little Cuyahoga itself.

This will be a fun, informative walk. And it’s free! Come join us! Register here: https://forms.gle/4j53MGzrLP53oypx7

Meet at:  Memorial Parkway trailhead, 499 Memorial Parkway, Akron, OH 44310.
